Our History

GT Automotive Cairns has deep roots in the Redlynch and Cairns community, starting with the original owner, Redlynch local, Gary Tenni, over 25 years ago. When retirement called Gary and Jan in 2023, they handed over to another local mechanic and family – Tristan and Sandie Hams.

Tristan and Sandie, along with the skilled team of mechanics and customer service staff, continue to offer extensive and varied mechanical and automotive repair services and build on the well-earned reputation of industry excellence in the Redlynch and the Cairns area.

We provide a complete range of automotive services, such as mechanical, electrical, air conditioning, EFI diagnostics, suspension, brakes, tyres, wheel alignment, safety inspections, and road worthy certificates.

We also provide a complete manufacturer’s logbook service for all vehicle makes ensuring that your new car warranty is maintained.
